How to Make Magic Shell Ice Cream Topping

If you are not familiar with the item, “Magic Shell” is an ice cream topping that freezes instantly when it touches the ice cream, giving it a hard shell covering.

Ingredients

1−6 ounce package chocolate chips
1/2 stick butter or margarine
1/4 cup vegetable oil

Steps

Get a double boiler or use two pots on top of each other.
Put the butter and chocolate chips into the top portion and melt them together.
Slowly add the vegetable oil to the mixture and stir it in well.
Pour mixture into a sealed container and store in refrigerator or cabinet until ready for use.

Tips

Instead of using chocolate chips, you can use caramel or butterscotch chips as a replacement.

Our church, Graham Chapel Wesleyan from Mayo, South Carolina, went to Orange Texas in Orange county, and also helped in Bridge City TX.
